Global Ambassadors (GA’s) are UM students selected by the Office of Study Abroad to promote global learning experiences.
- They are recognized by the University of Miami for their contributions to campus life.
- GA’s are leaders among their peers and enthusiastically enrich the college experience for all students through various activities.
- They promote study abroad, build connections and help their fellow students develop an international scope to their academic experience.
- Some of the outreach activities that GA’s are involved in, include but are not limited to: peer advising, tabling at events on campus and sharing information during classroom visits.
- UM Global Ambassadors also participate in study abroad programming such as Orientation, Study Abroad Fairs, Cultural Heritage Months, and COISO I-Week.
